Doing the Lord's work and posting about my wedding reception I had here in 2021. Ceremony was at Chico Creek Nature Center and reception was here, 1 minute down the road at Lakeside Pavilion (both owned by CARD). I cannot recommend this location enough. The staff was so lovely, supportive, and answered any and all of my questions. The price is absolutely unbeatable in comparison to other venues in Chico and surrounding areas. There are endless photography locations on site. To any future bride/groom, you will not regret booking this location. 100/10

Such a beautiful setting in an unlikely place (between numerous neighborhoods and a busy street). We love taking walks through here, snapping photos of the water and the birds, and enjoying the tranquil, park-like setting. There are a lot of homes on the lake, but that doesn't detract from the beauty that surrounds you. The Pavilion itself is perfectly equipped for large gatherings and weddings, indoor or outdoor. This is the best place to hold an event in Chico.
