MACE Performance

Ok so not Mace anymore right? But the powder coating service they offer is great. Atomic? Fair prices and turn around was good. Customer service was nails! Looks like they have good attention to detail with threaded areas that require some attention. Thank you guys!

Brought my car body to Mace Performance to have it media blasted and epoxy primed. I dealt with Ana, co owner. I spoke with the media blast person and asked specifically to insure that they did not warp the hood and trunk lid, the media blast person insured me he knew what he was doing and would be careful. Got the car body back and noticed they primed the fenders and doors in gray and the rest of the body, hood and trunk lid in flat black primer. Spoke with Ana about getting on their list to have the rest of my car restoration work done by Mace Performance. She said she would add me to the list. I waited for quite a few months and would stop by occasionally to see where I was in line. First check in, Ana was not there so left my name and number, no return phone call, 2nd attempt same result, 3rd attempt same result and so on. This is spread out over several more months. I stopped by in person and finally get a employee who informs me that Mace Performance will no longer be doing car restorations. I leave my name and number for Ana to call me, again no return phone call. I then go and seek out another company to begin body work on my car, they then start the body work process and notice that the hood and truck lid sheet metal is warped from the media blasting from Mace Performance. I did not notice it until they pointed it out to me due to the flat black primer.
Needless to say I am extremely disappointed in Mace Performance and would not recommend them to any one. Why a company would not return a simple phone call to a paying customer is beyond me. Probably because they knew they destroyed my hood and trunk lid. Worst customer service ever!!
