Absolutely do not recommend. I go in there to get an oil change (use my own oil and filter) just pay for labor. Had my air filter replaced. Fast forward after a few miles my car started to act funny take my car in (to a DIFFERENT MECHANIC) to figure out the codes to my car.
Turns out there is NOTHING WRONG. Pep Boys was Lazy and didn't put the air filter in my car. They tossed it in, causing my car to have check engine lights.
If I could give them a 0/5 I would. This damage would have cost me $986 plus the initial inspection $100 total around $1086. It was just really hard to believe that there were 7 codes in a perfectly serviced and maintained car.- helpfull 0
