I went to Dr. Richey several years ago for a skin check. I was hitting my 40s and have a family history of skin cancer, so I wanted to start routine annual skin checks. At my first visit, Dr. Richey spent about 20 seconds casually glancing at a few areas on me and then launched into a sales pitch for his spa. I was completely flabbergasted. I felt like he hardly looked at me. I now see a different dermatologist who is amazing and does thorough annual checks. I've since heard similar comments from former patients of his.

I have been a patient of Rejuvené since 2004. I have recently decided I will no longer visit this office. Little to none of my requests are being met. The last 2 visits were unspectacular and overpriced. I felt used.

Today I was told I could no longer go to Rejuvené because I "expressed my unhappiness online." Not sure if that can legally be done? There's no place else to go in Chico so I was going to take my chances again since the reviews were so good. But apparently I've been banned! A few weeks ago I noticed the great reviews that were suddenly added. I thought perhaps I just had a bad experience and maybe I should try again, since other people seemed to be happy with Rejuvené. I deleted my review in April, not wanting to be negative when apparently it was just a bad day for them. On Monday (5/8) I called to schedule an appointment. No response. Yesterday I called. No response. (Typically you leave a message and they call right back) This morning I called. No response. Then I dialed *67 and got an answer! That's when I was told I was banned. I was told that I'm not a good fit because I expressed my unhappiness.
Nothing like that has happened to me in my life. I'll be calling the Better Business Bureau. I only called because there are no other option and I was going to take my chances and try again.

The 2 stars was the original review I have once I became unhappy with Rejuvené. They changed the review to go to "Dr. Ritchey", but he hasn't been there for years. So I'm going to cut and paste this and put it back up again.

Dr. Hodari gives a lot money to places like Gateway Science and other places on the community so I doubt my call to the Better Business bureau will do a thing.
