Sierra Automatic Transmission

We are pretty disappointed in the lack of customer service and communication at this shop. First off, unfortunately not only did a $60.00 part cost $780.00 in the end, our truck was also there for almost three weeks. I understand the labor part of the job. The money is not the whole issue. Next, the communication was almost none at all. We had to initiate every call to find out the status of our vehicle. Last, after completion of the job we were told, if we pay cash we would get a 5% off discount. He paid the cash and got the truck back only to find out while it was in their care, it had been broken into. We sure wish we were contacted the day this happened so that we could see what may have been stolen. They claimed they made a police report, but police wouldn't do anything about it unless a gun was missing. What in the world?? Who are they to decide if there was anything of value in the car let alone a "gun"- I'm super bummed about the communication from this auto shop and we will be referring our friends and family elsewhere.
