Can I give 0 stars to this practice? Stay away, the only thing they do is charge you money. Worst primary care provider I have ever visited in Chico. Forced over here when my primary care physician retired. Thought I would give them a chance. Approaching age 50 so I know that some tests are recommended. Referrals were all to their network in Oroville, over 20 minutes away. Are you kidding me? There is a fully functional hospital in Chico.. Primary care physician was downright insulting. Six months later still receiving bills for unnecessary tests they conducted. Billing was all incorrect. They REFUSE to correct. If you need a primary care physician that doesn't make you feel like crap, I highly recommend Action Urgent Care at Safeway in Chico, they treat you like a valued patient.

Clinicians (NP, PA) are good.... BUT, As of July 2019, new phone system for Adventist Health org. now routes you to a central line in order to make an appointment. So far, I have called twice, with wait time to have my call answered of 10 min. (I had to hang up & try later) & 17 min. This is not acceptable in any non-1970s-USSR business, let alone a medical clinic. Then the agent who answered did not know how much time to give me for my type of visit & put me on hold while she checked ( 5 min. wait, total time for call 24min.)...... all together, to schedule an app't, 51min. (& no, I could not "self-enroll" on the patient portal in order to make the app't online, altho I wasted further time trying ... ) Really, Adventist Health???? Not good.... and don't blame your staff. Blame your staffing levels.
