As someone once asked, yes Chico has farmers market and a Thursday night market both in down town, both sells fruits. But the difference Ive noticed, farmers market is where you get all the freah fruits and veggies. It is mostly food and beverages.
Thursday night market has more non edible products and services, but it also has way more food trucks. I saw a man just getting casually massaged in the middle of the market. Anything goes
Do not come here if you want fruits and veggies since I only saw like one stall that sold some, and no hate to them, but one stall gives you less options. Also theres no ebt option here unlike farmers market
Im not a big fan if its not edible so its hard for me to remember most of the things here. There was a place to buy clothes, people sold plants. Yeah
Food trucks, there were lots of food trucks and food stalls all in one spot. There were of course the taco trucks, you got drunken dumpling, Meze moon, tamales (from farmers market), mexican street corn (also farmers market), samosa, sushi and hibachi, and many more, the one that I went to was called Churros Daisy (or Deisy)
Churros Daisy, they had a wide selection of churros products, with basic churros in a bag, churros filled with a filling in a bag, I dont remember the rest but I got Churros ice cream which they had 2 versions of. One was where the churros stood up with ice cream in the same cup. But the one I got was churros and ice cream in the position of like a banana split but instead of bananas, you got churros. And it was amazing. But WARNING: very very messy, their container for this was small so it kept dripping and some of the chocolate syrup got on my shoe. I was also pressured into eating quicker so it would stop dripping but it was really good, the churros were crispy and chewy and sweet and salty, the ice cream were cold and creamy had structure was also really good. I ate it so quick (partially cause it was dripping but also cause it was so good)
Los betos: I also got a taco from a taco truck, just ordered their cheapest item on their menu, 1 taco (1.99$) with a choice of meat (shrimp and fish costed extra), i ordered beef, they asked spicy or mild, it was soft shell and filling kept falling out. It was good. I ate it quick.
But yeah definitely give this place a visit at least once I believe its open every Thursday 6-9pm
