worst experience, had an ROP student not ask for help after having a hard time finding a vein, and then blow out the vein. After blowing it out, then he asked for help. If you have a student, have a supervisor in the room to help or have a policy regarding what to do if they are unsure. Dont just go ahead and give it a try and blow it. Literally.
