C&A Cleaning

They always do a great job and just what I ask! Super nice crew too! They are always my "go to" cleaning crew.

We hired C and A cleaning through a recommendation from our apartment complex for our move-out cleaning.

On the agreed upon day and time the cleaners showed up to the apartment and refused to clean on that day because we also had a carpet cleaning service in there as well. C and A cleaning knew ahead of time that we planned to have a carpet cleaner in there at that day and time, and they said it should not be an issue. They also claimed that there was too much trash in the apartment to clean, but the only items in the apartment were a bicycle and an end table in the living room that I was in the process of moving out as they showed up. After speaking to the carpet cleaner, he told us that C and A cleaning has a history of not doing a good job and avoiding work whenever possible.

They refused to clean before our lease move out date, and said they would work something out with the property management and take the final charge out of our security deposit. Because of this, we never got to see the final cleaning job and cannot make any comments or judgments about the quality of their cleaning.

On top of everything else, we were quoted less than $200 for this service, but our final bill ended up being $525 for a small 2-bedroom apartment (keeping in mind they did not have to clean the carpets since that was done already). They also claimed that the job took 15 hours, which feels ridiculous for a small, already cleaned by us beforehand, 2-bedroom apartment.

When we spoke with the owner on the phone to ask why we were charged so much more than expected, she was rude and unhelpful. She claimed that the charge was so high because our "walls were dirty and needed to be cleaned". We can guarantee that our walls were not dirty, and even if they were, how could it possibly take someone 15 hours to clean off walls?

Stay away from this cleaning service if at all possible, we had a horrible experience and would not recommend it to anyone.
