I needed our Maytag Dryer serviced. Called service department on the 13th of December. No call back two days. Decision make appointment in person. drove to Chico ( 28 miles one way / 56 miles round trip. ) This was Saturday the 16th. " Service dept closed no appt clerk, yada yada."

Make second trip on the following Monday morning , Now the 18th.

Finally able to get appointment. Took 10 more days to get some one out to the house. Christmas holiday etc.

Appointment time confirmed in the morning of the 27th. "Yes, We have you down for tommorrow , Between 10 am to Noon "

Morning of the 28th. 10 am Tech shows up. review the complant. "Squealing dryer ear deafing sounds."

Ask the tech to proceed with repair... "Small request ... Please can you clean the lint trap etc since your here? and the machine is going to be wide open."

" Sure, No problem "


Total repair time 25 minutes - $ 215.00 not covered by 10 year warranty of course! Thank you very much! Knew that was coming.

I asked "you took care of lint etc?" His reply " yes, all vacuumed .." FYI did not hear vacuum sounds

Tech is paid he leaves. I got to try out dryer, Got to check for myself right ?

Fantastic problem solved, No sqeaks or squealing ear shattering sounds

One tiny thing .....Lint trap full... Bada Boom!

Very happy with our install of washer/dryer and stove. They were professional and helpful. One of the technicians was named Tyler, and he was great with being cautious around walls and gave me tips on little things with the unit. I would definitely recommend.
