Holiday Inn Chico

I have been a Yelp user for many years and wanted to start off my new profile at the Holiday Inn express in Chico, but was very disappointed... it was a very clean, nice place, but it was staff at front desk that really ruined my stay. it started when I went down and asked for an extra pillow and a bald employee with glasses said he would get me some pillows, which was excellent, but I waited for more than 10 minutes in the lobby, but what was most disturbing was when I went to the front desk and looked around the corner I saw the same bald front desk, employee, kissing another employee, a woman with colored hair and a blue shirt .I requested to speak to a manager after I saw that, but the bald employee claims he was the manager I hope not because that was really unprofessional to see. but at least I got my pillow and breakfast. I would not recommend this place to stay sorry

The bottom of my feet were black! The fitted sheet was not...fitted and came off with each night sleeping! And there was not a mattress cover so you ended up on the bare mattress.
Location is on the corner of 2 very busy downtown streets so traffic and sirens all night... yelling and loud talking from the streets was the final straw for me. We checked out 2 days early, paid a bit more and stayed at the new Hampton Inn and suites. Well worth the extra money! Peace and quiet and oh....CLEAN! 2 stars for the girl at the front desk! Super nice young lady .
