Super 8 by Wyndham Chico

Disgusting. Rented a room that still allows smoking. My bad, I didn't know that was still an option in 2024. Called to ask if I could switch and was given the run around. We nicknamed the room "Murder Splats" because, well, something red was splattered everywhere. It was the worst smelling room I could imagine. Broken towel rack, holes in the curtains that are just gray/ brown with filth. It was one rare time of opting to sleep under the blanket than over it, because that thing hasn't been washed since 1989, bet. I couldn't believe the filth. The town was booked for Chico State event, or we would've been outta there.

found pubic hairs on the sheet upon arrival. refrigerator is broken. dont risk bringing a family here. we originally had an upgraded room and had to move because ac smelt like chemicals. thankfully the front desk rep could move us to a smaller room, compensation was never offered. i disinfected room with lysol wipes.
