The Handle Bar

Food was just ok and service is very slow. Pretzel bites & beer cheese were a hit though.

I never even write yelp reviews but I can't believe the bad service that I got at the handlebar, my bf and I have been going there for months, recently we've been going there pretty much weekly. We are super low key and always tip well. I don't know what the issue was but we waited for half an hour and received no service, this wouldn't be so bad but what makes it even more upsetting is not only was it not busy but the waitress completely ignored us and sat two different groups right next to us started giving them menus, serving them water, etc. I really don't know what the deal was because that waitress has served us plenty of times and was always friendly. On this day she made it pretty obvious we weren't welcome. Again I know we tip well so I'm really confused by this. The fact that she sat two different parties that came more than 15 minutes after us right next to us and served them was such a slap in the face. She never even greeted us, even though she obviously saw us one table over. We walked out and walked right past her she ignored us then too.We live right by there, we had begun making it our weekly spot, and now we can never go there again. If management reads this I made sure to write in my notes we were there Saturday September 14th at 4pm, check your staff! Whatever was going on that day, you lost loyal customers!
