Walnut Express Laundry

The machine that takes 9 loads of laundry looked interesting. We noticed it after we had already put a bunch of stuff in other washers.

Having an app to pay was great but approx 40% of the dryers could not be operated with the app. The dryers worked with quarters which was cool but the machine that changed out dollars for quarters was broken.

The a/c worked ok but the facility is mostly west-facing so you boil if you want to do your laundry in the late-afternoon / early evening as the sun is setting.

Basically, the place half sucks. Be prepared. Bring quarters because the owner is absent.

On a positive note, the washers and dryers don't stink as of the date of this post (July 2024).

Disgusted. Came in to do my laundry, around 11 when I thought there wouldn't be a ton of people because of Covid. I always get quarters first. Some rando girl with no uniform, cleaning, tells me the quarters are for customers only. I was trying to put a $20 in and she said "can you not use that many quarters". After she kept making comments I just decided I should probably spend my money elsewhere. In this pandemic, I have realized that more small businesses are going to close permanently. With that being said, I want to make sure I'm using my money to support a laundromat that values me and the money I spend there as well. I didn't deserve to be treated like that by the staff. Please don't assume people getting change aren't customers. Nobody wants to give money to a business with employees who treat you like crap. This place was set to take $25 a week from me for the next year. $1200. Now I have to pick another laundromat. :/
