I took my down comforters and pillows to be cleaned--was going to be over $70 but these are high quality white goose down and worth it. Was told one of my pillows "fell apart" in the machine and they complained how it took 2 hours for them to clear all the 'mess'. Said they would replace my pillow. Upon pick up tried to give me a foam pillow--I said my husband only uses white goose down, no feathers, no duck, and that was what I had brought in. Did not accept the foam pillow and they said owner would call me next day. Owner called me 2 days later and said my pillow was not down (I have a second pillow exactly the same that was laundered by them at same time--it is Pacific Coast white goose down). I told them I knew my pillow was not new, but neither was it foam and I did not appreciate being called a liar. I tried to be reasonable and offered to accept a lesser quality feather and down pillow or half the cost of a new goose down. They refused. I said by law they have to replace my pillow with something similar. They refused. I told them again that I was trying to be reasonable and fair with them and wouldn't they consider doing the same. They yelled at me over phone and refused, said they would see me in court. What terrible business practice and insulting to customer. Please DO NOT EVER use this cleaner--you will not be treated with respect and should any problem arise they will attempt to bully you and insinuate you are a liar. Sad, I have used this location for many years, but these are new owners and from a culture that disrespects women.

I worked for Chico Express Cleaners for almost 3 years. I was fired because of the heat and I missed work because I was in the hospital. The heat is horrible in the building. I will be 75 next month, and I was not allowed to use a fan that my granddaughter sent. The owner said it was unacceptable because I was sending out a message that they couldn't take care of their employees. I should not have had to explain why my granddaughter sent me a fan. I was asked what I was telling my granddaughter, uh, I was hot. I guess I had no right to tell her that. The owner is very dishonest. All she cares about is money. Customers cared more about me than she did. They were always telling me to stand by the cooler. If they could see it so could she. I don't advise anyone to go there. Even when I worked there, I took some of my blankets and comforters to a different cleaners. I never want to see either of them again. Their actions speak louder than anything they could ever say.....
