Webb Homes

I agree with another Yelper here that no changes can be made after the contract is signed. They didn't give me a no...they just ignored me. So if you do purchase a home from Webb, make sure you take your time and pick everything to your liking. But as the other Yelper pointed out, the home is beautiful. Maybe because it was brand new. Lol.

Anyway, there were a lot of oversights that really bugged me, esp lack of attention to detail. I'm paying so much money for a home that appears beautiful, but was definitely rushed. I understand it is a hot market, but you have to at least do a proper job with the homes you're already building before you rush on to the next ones. Some issues I had were clerical/admin oversights, tiles being broken but yet put in, poor grout placement, locks not working, toilet installed inappropriately as it is not stable, walls appear thin, door not completely sealed off ar bottom...and the response time to get things fixed. The communication was very poor; response time was soooo slow. And the many times we had set appointments with them to fix something in the house...well, they don't show up.

Also, last I checked their website---said homes will be completed within 3mos. Not in our case.

If I could do it over again, I'm not sure I would've chosen Webb.

Our home-buying experience with Webb was not good; but the house itself is fabulous and it was worth the pain. It's built well, comfortable, affordable, bright, energy-efficient and has good amenities.

The 7-month process of buying/building the house was painful though. No changes were allowed after signing the contract, yet we were given no information about what our options might be. We had to formulate and submit a list of questions and most of the answers were "NO!". After we signed the contract we thought of a small changes and sure enough, we were told "NO!".

During construction, there were several oversights (no plumbing in garage for the utility sink for example) and when we brought it to their attention, they were agitated at US about it. It was like walking on eggshells.

Webb Homes could really benefit from an attitude adjustment about their Customer NO-service.
