Chico Cab Company

The phone is disconnected. They must be out of business. Sorry, good luck finding someone in Chico. You have a thumb.

I called this company (spoke with the cabbie himself) and was told there was a 30 minute wait. After about 40 I called to get an ETA and was told he'd be there in less than ten. Ten minutes came and went, then twenty - not even a phone call. I then phoned him back and was sent to voice mail! Running dangerously close to being late for work I called Liberty and they were there in five minutes - literally.
When I had a chance I called the driver back and asked him where he was. He responded, casually, saying "where are you!?" "I was just there and no one was there"....no acknowledgment that he was even late. I explained that he had made me late for work and that the least he could have done was call to explain whatever his circumstances were so I wasn't left waiting.... on top of waiting. He offered an insincere, half-ass apology but then immediately went on to make one excuse after another, actually telling me "you should be more sympathetic!". Well hang ups are part of the nature of the business aren't they? All the reason more why a call would have been appropriate - not to mention that giving phony arrival times so you don't lose a fare usually has the opposite effect. I told him it was bad business practice and unprofessional; that I would write a review, more now due to his attitude, to which he laughed.
A lot can be accomplished in thirty minutes my friend....let alone an hour....like having a dozen people delete your number from their phones as my friends and associates have just done. I don't know about you, but I prefer to make money not lose it. : )

To boot, this guy sounded drunk - on a Saturday afternoon! Don't waste your money....or your time!
