My son volunteered the summer preceding his senior year at PVHS , he learned a lot internally and enjoyed a refurbished computer when completing his hours.
I am now 64 and have never been much in the technology comp stuff so I was just reading reviews as I was thinking about volunteering myself and learning a little ! Sometimes a smile and a kind word is all it takes to change perspective!- helpfull 0

I am so disappointed with Computers for Classrooms. It is a great idea for a nonprofit. It could help a lot of people. Unfortunately, it is being run into the ground by incompetence. The problem with relying on volunteers is that they become complacent, careless, and rude under the pretense of altruism. They take their payment in the form of making the needy feel like dirt. I just wish their behavior matched the original intention of their founder, Pat Furr.
