Country Lane Apartments

I contacted Country Lane Apartments several times, inquiring about their apartments. When I first contacted them, the price of the apartments were $1150.

I was placed on a waiting list. The list never changed in the two years I contacted them.

Then when I contacted them a few months later, the price of the apartments were $1250, still a good price for what you got.

Then, when I contacted them a few months later, the prices had shot up to $1385.

As you can see from the photos, they raised their prices to $1385 while there was a massive homeless encampment adjacent to the property.

I asked the property manager if they had made any improvements to the properties to raise the price so much. The property manager said the apartments had not been updated or improved. My conclusion is that they simply raised the prices because other luxury apartments have been built in Chico. They also gave me a rather rude response.

If this wasn't bad enough, Country Lane Apartments complained to Yelp about my review not containing enough details about my interaction with the property and had my Yelp review taken down.

That is a violation of my free speech. Country Lane Apartments is corrupt from top to bottom.

My roommate and I have lived here for a little over a year, and we love it! I love that the apartments look more like homes than apartment buildings. It's the perfect amount of space for us two and our little cat. We love the pool table in the rec room, and the complex has a pool and hot tub. Very cute and quiet place to live.
