Chico Top Imports

I was very happy working with Bob at Chico Top Imports. He's a busy man and can be hard to reach but he deals fairly and has good prices. I shopped his lot for about 3 weeks until the car I wanted came in and then we sealed the deal. I did not have to haggle, or wait 3 hours while a sales manager tried to talk me up. Bob tells it like it is, it's refreshing compared to big car lots. I referred a friend to him and she's very happy with her car. He moves a lot of cars through that lot on a monthly basis so it is always crowded. On the other hand you're not paying for the glamor and glitz with an inflated car price. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a used car.

I won't give this place a 1* because they dealt very fairly with me.
I won't give it a 5* because it is not very professional, and the owner is not a man of his word.
They helped put me in the exact car I wanted. That being said, it was definitely because I was a cash buyer. They were unwilling to negotiate the price - EVEN WITH CASH IN HAND. But we bought the car because it was the one I really wanted and the price was pretty good. And we needed a car for our family.
He even told me that he could go to any auction and get me any car I would want. I love that he offered that. I didn't need to take him up on that because the exact one I wanted was sitting on his lot.
Bob said that he would fix 2 cosmetic things on the car. One part he would order, and one, he would have his mechanic look at. Very small things... but neither has been fixed! Actually, he has seemed to dodge all my calls, even though he is the one supposedly always in the office. Or he really is gone all week long, since I call about 3-4 times a week.
His salesman, Nino is sooo nice. He is always helpful, and I will say the first time I walked the lot, I was impressed that he did not badger or bother me much while I looked around. Helped me to make the decision I did to come back. He may not be the most professional guy, but he is a hard worker and you can tell he is good people.
Bob is not professional. You can tell by the lot that the lot is no spectacular place.
Many offers, some great things about this place, but not all promises were kept - even for a cash buyer who paid the sticker price. I agree that buying used cars comes with multiple risks.
