Little Red Hen is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that provides supportive employment to adults with developmental disabilities. We carry the Maison Blanche line of chalk paint, refurbished furniture, and a collection of unique knobs and pulls as well. With both vintage-inspired and genuine vintage items we specialize in mid-century modern, rustic, and shabby chic.

Little Red Hen grew from the dream of a mother for her child's future, after the founder's son was diagnosed with autism. Fun store with a variety of items. Very clever displays and merchandise selection is excellent! The staff is super sweet and helpful. Good thing I don't love close to Chico or I would go broke shopping here.

This place is a real treat. We were drawn in by some cute cards. While looking in the doorway, we were invited in by an employee who explained the store was a non-profit and the store supports people with developmental disabilities. So much cute stuff here--new and vintage. We were really surprised at the quality of the vintage things. Almost all sets were complete; all items were in pristine condition, a lot of different items for different interest. This store is definitely worth checking out. :)
