I moved away from this complex after living there about seven years. The last straw fell when an acquaintance was evicted for no good reason. Management on the premises had varied in quality, senior management was consistently out of touch with the needs of senior residents. The communal room was almost always a source of contention. My most recent knowledge of this room is that it has been closed for several weeks. There are a few tables in this room and if the residents moved a table for some convenience, management reacted as though someone had sinned. It was not as though the tables needed to be placed or spaced in a special way. Items that the residents chose to have in the communal room, such as a small bulletin board, were removed by management. This is not a suitable home for anyone who has a need to be independent in any way. It is a plutocracy, not a democracy. The place looks nice, but you can't tell a home by its exterior!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Here's the short and sweet of it, UNETHICAL MANAGEMENT!

Don't move your parents in here. They lie to them, take advantage of them, don't allow their disabled friends to park in handicapped parking when they come to visit, take away handicapped parking spaces out of spite when complaints are made to the owner, and are just downright terrible to the inhabitants of this place.

This once nice place for seniors to live out their years in peace among their friends has turned into a hostile place to live and they are moving out as fast as they can find new places to go.

Hopefully the owner figures out what his new management is doing before the county Adult Protective Services has to get involved.
