The Terraces

It was a huge relief when we got my 87 year old mom a studio apartment with a view of the lake here. It is a genuinely caring community and I know my mother is seen, loved, valued, and cared for here. The care staff are tops and the dining hall manager, Cindy, goes out of her was to make sure the dining experience is positive and personal.

My Mom has been at The Terraces for several months now. Not only does she love it, but my husband and I are so pleased with the facility and staff as well. The staff is sincerely amazing. They genuinely care for their clients. They really know my mom and her interests and special needs. Christina, the activities coordinator, is sincerely fantastic. She makes things engaging and safe and fun for the clients, providing enrichment and support. Duane is such a great guy, always participating with everyone and keeping a safe eye on clients as he takes them on errands and scenic drives on the bus. Stacy is full of love, energy and experience. I can ask her anything and she knows the answer. I'm grateful she's around to keep an eye on my mom. Brad, the manager is available and present and kind. The wait staff at the restaurant is great too, having fun interacting with clients and knowing each person's tastes and preferences. It's fantastic. The food is so good. Tonight, we were able to attend a great event for all the clients having birthdays in January, including my mom. There was a choice of a fancy meal including beef tenderloin or coconut shrimp, twice baked potato, spinach, soup and dessert, along with champagne. Games and raffles, singing and "get to know you" time happened as well. True community. I highly recommend the Terraces if you're looking for a warm, well rounded, safe and clean place for your aging parent.
