Extra Storage

Terrible customer service. Inquired on move out date about any sort of refund. It was the 3rd. The woman at the office was rude and nasty. Saying no partial refund could be issued. Just to keep a few more of my dollars. Zero empathy. I was a model customer. Never complaining even when I has to pay a late fee. The fees here are cheap, but you get what you pay for. This type of greed is pervasive now

Worst experience ever

Here is a quick summary of factual experiences with this company over 6 months. We had a storage across from their main office in the newer section.

Despite advertising their top notch security there is one camera in the entire new section of storages. We were once 15 minutes late leaving due to my mistake thinking the gate shut off at 730 instead of 7. My mistake no big deal right? Except they dont notify you they are closing and with all that security NEVER SAW MY CAR IN PLAIN SIGHT and there is no way to contact the office to get let out. It's okay they will eventually see me? Nope. I jumped the fence and came back in the morning where they had never even noticed my car I could've pillaged all night for all they cared.

Another time I left at 7pm on the dot according to the clock on the gate code box. It was already off. No biggie the employee was walking 15 feet away on other side of gate. Shed let me out. And she did for 75$. That's what she charged me to walk 15 feet and punch in her code even though as I drove out it was still 7pm.

So as I was disputing their 75$ charge I was charged a late fee and lock removal fee and additional administrative fees and paid almost $400 for being a few weeks late. While disputing the additional charge. They had already cut my lock off to sell my things after 3 weeks. Because and I quote "they didn't think i was going to pay"

So here I am today. I changed storages and moved out of chico due to work, I emptied and cleaned my storage. I left the lock on becsuse I wasnt sure what to do since the office was already closed. I'm out of town and they refuse to stop charging me late fees due to not being able to access my storage because I left the lock on. Its been weeks longer than the last time that they cut it off based purely on speculation of me paying but they refuse to cut it off and instead are continuing to charge me to late fees. Worst customer service I've ever seen. Not to make it personal but I believe alot.of my issues are due to the obesity of the women working there-im sure it's in their job to walk the lot before leaving and that wouldve fixed alot of my complaints before they happened but becsuse they didnt I was left in these situations. I'm not saying it's all their fault I'm saying a lack of proper following of their policies and poor Customer service leave me with no choice but to say they are the worst business I've ever dealt with. It's a shame. Other than that they had clean storages and comparable prices to the competition.
