Rats the size of Chihuahuas! Had I known this I would never have moved in.
When my manager and I checked the rat trap that they placed on my hot water heater, the rat was the biggest I have ever seen--male manager's response: "They get bigger!"
Vents shared by neighbors--ours loved to smoke pot so we were forced to smell that (the managers did nothing) along with sharing kitchen and bathroom odors...yay!
The managers work 1 hour per day 12-1pm and both have full-time jobs. They are older and have very little time or energy to devote to their responsibilities at the complex. If the male manager ever has to fix anything, he will passive/aggressively tell you how it is your fault and that that you must be too stupid to fix it yourself.
The workout room has a $50.00 key fee but the use of the gym is advertised as included in the rent.
Most people that move in leave within 3 or 4 months--the people that stay do so because they cannot afford to leave, others are are drug dealers, or have pit bulls (or any combination of the three).
Cannot fit a queen-sized bed on second floor (where the bedrooms are) without damaging the walls because the space between the living room and stairs is so small.
Doors and stair-rails are painted with a latex paint that does not properly stick to the door or metal handrail, so the paint peels off over time. Don't worry, they charge $55.00 per hour to paint after you move out--they also charge $25 per hour for any housekeeping: even if it is cleaner than when you moved in!
Black mold throughout window sills-constant bleaching required! They suggest keeping the windows in the bathroom and upstairs bedrooms open, which is fine unless it is summer or winter and you expect to be able to use the heater or A/C and be comfortable.
Mold also inside the walls! The water heater room was covered in it and that shared a wall with our kitchen. My family was sick the entire time we lived there.
Please do not move in here if you have children! If the mold wasn't bad enough, my little girl was yelled at for picking flowers by the male manager and the children were not allowed to ride their tricycles on the sidewalk. Don't be fooled by the charms of the female manager (who actually has social skills) she is only half of the management team. The male manager is short-tempered, has a bad attitude and seems to hate his responsibilities.
They do allow large dogs here, even pit bulls. Our neighbors never let their dogs out of their back yard and it smelled so bad that we couldn't use our backyard--fences needed to be repaired when we moved in; a year later they still were not.
The exterminator told me that he could not get rid of the rats because the managers would not fix the exterior holes on the building. The male manager blamed the family in #5, rather than do the work recommended by the exterminator.
Every holiday they leave cookies or chocolates on your porch... just get to them before the rats do!
    You have been warned!

Clean and well kept landscaping. Managers are great and the entire complex is very family friendly.
