Eastwood Gardens

Would leave 0 stars if I could. The apartment was different than what was told. Management is terrible. Loud neighbors. Don't expect any complaints about loud neighbors to be fixed. Maintenance was great but managers, worst ones I've ever seen.

Not a bad little place to live. It's a bit far from campus (too far to ride your bike, at least for me but I'm pretty lazy) but there's a bus stop down the street a block or so away. It's mostly just families, only a few students that lived there that I knew of, so no loud parties or annoying neighbors. It wasn't the -cheapest- place I've lived at, but overall I think it was fair for what it offered. The on site property manager was always friendly, never had a problem with her.

I think the carpet perhaps could have used a change before I had moved in, but other than that it was pretty clean. My only complaint is that the Sheraton repair staff took a while in responding to any of the (admittedly minor) problems I had with the air conditioning and stove while I lived there, but if you've lived in Chico before as a student you'll come to realize this is pretty much the norm wherever you live.

If you can score a good deal on a 2 bedroom go for it. There are cheaper places in Chico though, if you snag them early enough.
