Westwood Trees Apartments

In addition to losing everything in the Paradise fire, now we have to worry about possible identity theft. A couple of weeks ago, my husband, myself and my elderly mother filled out their rental applications with all of our personal info, turned them into the guy at the on-site office desk, who said there was a unit being readied, and he believed the application fee was being waived for evacuees.

My husband went back two days later to check the status, and there was a different guy at the desk who said he was the new manager and, no, he couldn't find our applications. He only looked in a couple of desk drawers and said he'd looked all he was going to that day. He wasn't interested in looking through the large bottom drawer that had file folders in it.

My husband then went to their main office, Sierra Pacific Management, who said they never received our applications, and surprise, also said there was no vacancy-- and they were not waiving the application fees for evacuees. Nobody knows nothing. Poof.

...... Cherolyn is the manager at Westwood Trees. My recent experience with her is that presently she must be going thru a bad patch in her life, or something. I had 3 conversations on 3 different occasions & found her to be mostly angry and/or impatient-- and at times simply rude. Consequently, I'm looking elsewhere for my son to live, even though this probably means paying $100-$200 more a month.
