Management takes clear advantage of college renters. Photos and videos were sent via email upon move in. While I was moving in the water had to be shut off because maintenance had to replace the arcing water heater. Additionally we were never compensated for the massive hole in our wall allowing for pests and cold air to seep through. Once they did fix the ceiling there were still holes and cracks. The deposit team tried to charge me to repair blinds that were already torn and fortunately I had photo evidence of this. Two weeks prior to move out I put in a maintenance request and they cancelled it due to beginning repairs on vacant buildings. They raised the cost of the onsite laundry facility despite machines malfunctioning constantly.

I'm glad I moved out. The place is infested with roaches, carpet beetles, and mold. On top of that, they never mentioned the infestation before I signed the lease, even though they knew about it from other tenants' work orders. They didn't tell the person who moved in with us either. They only told the last person because we kept complaining. What they did is extremely illegal.

Aside from that, I did some research, and they have known about the roach problem well before 2020. The reviews prove that they have known about the problem and are liable for not telling tenants before moving in. Just look for the lowest reviews dating back to that time, and you will see. The apartment has been using the excuse that they don't have recollection or records of the apartment being infested with roaches when, in fact, they have been around for years! Extremely illegal!

I had to drive 12 hours to get to the apartment. I was so tired and just wanted to unpack and shower. But guess what? The room was dirty when I arrived, as well as the restroom and living area. That's not all. The shower and toilet were clogged, so I had to buy something to unclog them that same day. After a hard first day, I was finally ready to make something small to eat at night. I was really hungry, but once I saw the roaches, my hunger just disappeared. Roaches were all over the floor, ceiling, walls, cabinets, sink, under the fridge, even by the window and carpet.

On top of that, the office would enter my room without permission! There was an instance when the office made a work order for me without anyone calling it in. I woke up to a knock on the door, and it was pest control. I was just waking up, and he starts telling me he's going to spray the house. The house wasn't ready, and I was actually going to schedule at a later time. That wasn't the only time they have made excuses and say that they tell us when we never received anything in the mail. I even spoke with my roommate and he said he never got anything. So the paper randomly appeared when I went to the office. What a convenience. Trust me, save your money, you will be a lot happier someplace else like I am. I am so glad I dipped this B. My new apartment complex actually has a vent in my room, with vents all over the house. No roaches nor carpet bugs. I also have a better-looking apartment, and the difference is not a lot in what I used to pay. Overall, this place is the worst I have ever lived in. The office also closes like 2 or 3 hours early. Their system is also very old and outdated, it sucks and they even agreed with me so why haven't they done anything about it? They focus too much on their residents' lives when we just wanna live in peace. I won't say the words, but they sound like I describe them to be. I will say all this and I can and don't care about the office thoughts. I just want to leave this review because it's an honest review to the core.
