The Social Chico

I think the photos speak for itself. When we first went to tour this area we were shown a mock apartment attached to their leasing office. We walked out of there, super excited, but unfortunately, we were scammed to the max. The apartments aren't even attached to the main area you have to walk across and they are completely outdated. all they did was slap some white paint, which by the way was very badly done, walking through the apartment. The pool was unkept. THERE IS MOLD ON THE STAIRS! if you are OK with living like a rat for the price by all means do it, but if you have a little extra money to spare definitely look elsewhere.

Notice how the majority of bad reviews for this place were back when it was under the old ownership of Craig hall. The social Chico now is a great place to live. Lived there for a whole year and met a bunch of friends who had the same experience as me. All you can eat food 3 times a day had to be our favorite. Food is awesome and prepared like a home cooked meal. Breakfast burritos, sandwich bar, and home cooked dinners made the meal plan totally worth every penny. The rooms are huge with a ton of closet space and the gym, pool, and game room made it feel like a resort rather than a "dorm". The staff are great and very helpful from the front desk to the maintenance workers. Would highly recommend living here especially for you first year students!
